In our info session, we will talk about what you can do as a RARE member and what it takes to be ready for RARE, hear from current and/or former members, and provide space to ask any questions you may have of RARE Program staff. We are looking forward to meeting you!
RARE AmeriCorps members are motivated individuals who are passionate about service, making a difference and creating meaningful change. They’re interested in systems thinking, planning, community building, and making the world a better place. RARE AmeriCorps members are excited about a full immersion experience, adventure, and open to learning-by-doing.
Most RARE AmeriCorps projects fall into three broad categories:
- Community and Economic Development
- Environmental and Sustainability Planning
- Food Systems
